About this work

Autumn landscape with autumn scenes. November is the acorn and slaughter month. In the foreground to the left two peasants are sawing a tree in two. In the middle a shepherd driving his pigs through the forest, looking for acorns for the animals. Part of a series of the twelve months, in which each month is depicted with the human activities and climatic characteristics typical of it.
