About this work
Round print with a winter landscape with winter scenes. December is the slaughter month. In the center stands the slaughtering of pigs, after which the animals are smoked and pickled. In the background the livestock is brought to the slaughterhouse. At the top center the constellation Capricorn. The print is part of a twelve-part series on the twelve months.
