About this work
When a stingy farmer refuses to help David and his men, they threaten to punish him. Abigail, the wife of the farmer, kneels before David and offers him and his soldiers food and drink. Behind her, some servants and three donkeys loaded with drink and food. In the background, a landscape with a castle and some farms.
