The Philistines burn Samson's wife and father-in-law

About this work
After Samson had set fire to the cornfields of the Philistines, because his father-in-law had given his wife to another, the Philistines wanted to know who was responsible for the destruction of the corn. They burn the bodies of Samson's wife and father-in-law. Around the fire in the city stand onlookers and a man throws a bundle of twigs on the fire.
