About this work

The wedding ceremony of Queen Wilhelmina and Duke Henry of Mecklenburg in the Great Church in The Hague on 7 February 1901. To the left of the bride her mother Queen Emma and Henry's cousin Grand Duke Frederick Francis IV of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. To the right of the groom his mother Marie of Schwarzburg-Rudolstadt. The marriage was performed by the Minister of Justice Pieter Wilhelm Adrianus Cort van der Linden, who acted as the civil registrar for the occasion.
