About this work

Satirical print in favor of the Royal Decree of 14 August 1825, aimed against training students abroad, and specifically in the French Saint-Acheul, as a way to evade the obligation to follow priestly training at the Collegium Philosophicum in Leuven. To the right the Jesuit college with priests and students; to the left students departing with a carriage. Below the image a French song in five stanzas.
