About this work

Standing lady, seen from the front, dressed in a gown falling to the ground with a wide collar, a mask over her face, a flower in her hand. In the background figures and a carriage at the steps of a villa and a kissing couple. This print is part of a series of 12 prints depicting noblemen in costumes worn in Lorraine in the first quarter of the 17th century; half the series depicts men's costumes, the other half women's costumes.
