About this work
With a variant for the right half; in the medallion a mirror is held up before Mars or Apollo. From a series with German reverse copies after the series Plafons à la Romaine by Jean Lepautre (published in Paris in 1665) and a sheet from the series with ornamental panels (published in Paris).
