Portrait in oval frame of King Ferdinand II of Aragon, also known as Ferdinand the Catholic. Bust to the left. Around the portrait frame five allegorical figures: Top History, with a book in one hand and a torch in the other, right War in armor, left Peace with the caduceus, bottom right the river god Scaldis and bottom left the personification of the Southern Netherlands (Belgica with the lion).
