About this work
Two epileptic women are taken by their male guides on the pilgrimage of epileptics to Molenbeek near Brussels on St. John's Day. There they must dance over the bridge to be cured of their epilepsy for a year. In the background a woman is carried over the bridge. On the other side a woman rests.
