About this work
Mary stands on the moon crescent in a mandorla. She wears a crown with stars. Above her the sun and the moon and the Trinity. Below her a dragon. Devils shoot arrows at her which are repelled by cherubins with shields. On both sides medallions with symbols from the Loreto Litany (Litany of the Holy Virgin Mary). In the margin a two-line inscription in Latin.
