About this work
In a wooded river landscape, the wounded, robbed traveler sits under a tree. A priest with an open book in his hand looks at him, but walks past the wounded man and offers no help. On the right, two figures in a rowing boat. In the background stands a chapel. According to the biblical story in Luke 10: 25-37.
