About this work
Landscape with a birdcatcher (or snipe catcher) who has stretched a standing net between trees for snipe hunting (the net is a so-called *laatflouw*), which he holds with a rope. In the morning or evening twilight he waits for the snipe approaching in the air which will soon fly into the net. A small audience watches. In the moonlit landscape stands a mill. With four lines of text in Latin.
