About this work
Depicted are one large and five smaller seals. For each seal it is stated to which part of Friesland it belongs. All seals feature a seated figure and have a border decorated with text. On the top and largest seal sits a seated Mary with Christ in her lap. To the left and right of her wild men with a shield and sword or spear.
