About this work
Monument for colonel N.E.F. de Gumoëns erected on the Protestant cemetery in The Hague on April 28, 1834. The colonel fell during the siege of the Citadel of Antwerp on December 29, 1832. On the monument two extinguished torches and a plan of the citadel. At the bottom in the margin the family coat of arms and the inscriptions that are on the monument.
