About this work

Telemachus brings the wounded Phalantus, lying in a bed in a tent, the ashes of his deceased brother Hippias. Telemachus, on the left, carries the urn in his hands. In the background a camp is visible. The whole is framed by an ornamental border with olive branches and a bow at the bottom. Numbered top right: No. III.
