About this work

Upper left a medallion with Cain killing Abel (Genesis 4:8). Upper right a medallion with Abraham and Lot dividing the land (Genesis 13:1-12). Center an image of Joseph, king of Egypt, with his retinue (Genesis 46:29). Lower left Moses, lying in the basket, is found and presented to the daughter of the Pharaoh (Exodus 2). Lower right David shows a piece of his cloak to Saul (1 Samuel 24:12). This print is an illustration from 'Selected Biblical Stories, for a Reader for Youth'.
