About this work
In a room a woman cleans the bottom of her child while the man next to her turns his face away and sticks out his tongue. Next to the woman two children, one of whom has relieved himself on the floor and the other on a chamber pot. A third child, who pinches his nose, hands the woman a cloth. On the wall hangs a print of a man smoking a pipe.
