About this work

Rails (iron rails) are brought to the coast by boats and pulled on land with horses. Part of a series of three prints of the transfer with the help of divers of the ship's cargo from the wreck of the English schooner Martha that sank near Texel. Operation with divers carried out under the leadership of Jan van Geuns in the night of June 25 to 26, 1848.
