Battle of Engelen in the Kempen near 's-Hertogenbosch, 13 July 1587. Troops of Hohenlohe defend a fortified redoubt at Engelen (later strengthened and renamed Crèvecoeur). During the battle, Haultepenne falls; his body is carried away in the right foreground. At the top, a banner with the title and the legend A-O in Latin.
