About this work

Portrait of Ferdinand II (Holy Roman Emperor). He wears a cord with the insignia of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The portrait is framed by a border decoration with putti and armor parts. In both upper corners, an eagle, in the center his coat of arms. Below the portrait, a cartouche with his name, titles, and a short biography in Latin. Numbered "XII".
