About this work
Portrait of Ferdinand III (Holy Roman Emperor). He wears a cord with the insignia of the Order of the Golden Fleece. The portrait is framed by a border decoration with putti and armor parts. One of the putti holds a print with a city view. In both upper corners, an eagle, in the center his coat of arms. Below the portrait, a pedestal with his name, titles, and a short biography in Latin. Numbered "XIII".
