About this work
Christ, his hands bound, sits on a pillar with a crown of thorns on his head. Around him kneel the four evangelists, Mary Magdalene, the Virgin Mary, and another woman. They weep. Above Christ, various angels with the instruments of the Passion. The central pillar has a Latin inscription. Above Christ, two angels fly with a scroll with a Latin inscription.
