About this work

Sheet with two representations of Mexican sacrificial festivals. Above: Mexicans offer birds at an image of the Aztec god Quetzalcoatl, the god of wind, wisdom and life. Below: The image of a god of the hunt stands on a mountain and is surrounded by fires. The Mexicans shoot down the animals that come towards the image. Below the representations an inscription in French.
