About this work

Sheet with two depictions of respectively Venezuelan and Brazilian funeral rituals. Top: People living along the Orinoco river hang the skeletons of the deceased in their huts and decorate them. Bottom: Women weep for the deceased who is buried in a hole in the ground. Below the depictions an inscription in French.
