About this work

Relief with the personification of the element Water above the right (northern) arch on the west side of the Burgerzaal in the Town Hall on the Dam in Amsterdam. Instead of legs she has two fish tails. On her lap a jug from which water flows, in her left hand a ball from which water sprays. On her head a crown of water plants. Shells under her fish tails. Numbered below right: CII. N. 1.
