About this work

Festive gathering of the students of the Utrecht University on 19 June 1856 for the celebration of the 220th anniversary of the University. The students in costumes from the time of Prince Willem of Orange gathered in the Nieuwe Baan at the end of the Maliebaan in Utrecht, in the evening. A concert is being given on the left.
