The female personification of Diligence (Sedulitas), with a distaff. She is accompanied by a hen with chicks, symbolizing diligent work. In the background, women are diligently weaving and spinning. The representation has a border with a Latin inscription set in a richly decorated cartouche. First print from a series of eight on the cycle of human action.
