About this work
Turret on the north side of the old Hôtel de Ville in the Rue de la Tixéranderie. The artist deviated from reality and added for example the vegetation and wall anchors to the facade. He also made the building higher and narrower thereby increasing the vertical effect. The figures on the street are proportionally very small.
