About this work
The central part of the facade of the new Temple in Jerusalem, as it would appear according to Juan Bautista Villalpando in his book Ezechielem Explanationes, 1596. Villalpando based this on the visions of Ezekiel concerning the new Temple in the biblical Book of Ezekiel. In the doorway an angel with a measuring rod and the prophet Ezekiel.
