About this work

Two biblical scenes from 1 Sam. 25 and 1 Sam. 28. Abigail meets her future husband David, and Saul speaks with Samuel's spirit at the witch of Endor. Two scenes on one plate, each provided with a title in Dutch and French. Numbered bottom right: 54.
