About this work
Belloardo and Capitano are harshly shaved and powdered with wet flour by Arlequin, dressed as a barber. His servant Pierot holds the bowl of flour. Arlequin hides a club under his left arm, with which he will eventually beat his rivals Belloardo and Capitano. At the bottom of the margin, a four-line verse in Dutch and French.
