About this work
The three main figures in the conspiracy against Maurice: Hendrick Danielsz Slatius, Reinier van Oldenbarnevelt, and Adriaen Adriaensz van Dijck. In the background, in small scale, the conspiracy in a tent, arrest, flight, and executions. Top left, an inset showing the beheading of Slatius. Added in round medallions are the portraits of Abraham and Jan Blansaert, Willem Perty, and David Coorenwinder. The print is mounted on a sheet with an old transcript of the title and texts related to this print: a second dialogue between a farmer and his landlord, and the legend in three columns in Dutch.
