About this work
The burial ground of the Van der Capellen family in the Gorsselse Veld near Zutphen, founded in 1785 in honor of Joan Derk van der Capellen tot den Pol, who died in 1784. The building was blown up in August 1788 by Orangists. Pendant to a depiction of the burial ground blown up in 1788. With an eight-line Dutch verse.
