About this work
Romulus and Remus seek an omen in a flight of birds. The number of birds determines which of the twins has the right to found a city and give it his name. Romulus stands on the left side of the Tiber River and sees more birds flying past than Remus on the right side. Numbered in the upper right: 209. Numbered in the lower left: 51.
