About this work

Two biblical scenes from 2 Sam. 16 and 18. Simei curses David and throws stones at him, and Absalom remains with his hair hanging on an oak and is killed. Two scenes from one plate, each provided with a title in Dutch and French. Numbered at bottom right: 59.
