About this work

Christ gives a lesson in a house. It is very crowded in the hall. Through the roof a paralyzed man is lowered because it was not possible to get him inside otherwise due to the crowd. Illustration for the New Testament, Luke 5, 19. Under the representation a title in Greek, English, German, Latin, French and Dutch.
