About this work
In a vast landscape Christ kneels in prayer on the Mount of Olives and looks up to the sky where an angel has appeared in a vision. On the ground behind Christ the three disciples Peter, James and John are sleeping. On the right Judas approaches, followed by a group of soldiers.
