About this work
In a room are four young men and four young ladies at two beds. At the bed to the right one of the men pulls up the skirt of a girl. She laughs at him. The boy, with a twig behind his back, slides the curtain of a bed aside. At the other bed the girls, with bare breasts, let themselves be touched by boys. This image belongs to a passage from 'De Hollandsche-Lijs, met de Brabandsche-Bely' about how the boys wake the girls in the morning.
