About this work
Two views of lottery rhymes, each with its own number. Above no. 1512: a representation in a round frame of a man rocking a child's bed with a cord. That the child is not his, is made clear in the background, where his wife is keeping company with another man. Below no. 1514: a representation in an octagonal frame of a bedroom, with a man who has fallen out of his bed and gets his chamber pot over himself. The print has a page number at the top right.
