About this work
Cloris and Roosje dance at their wedding. On the raised platform are two violinists, one of whom raises a glass. To the right are the guests and a man delivering a speech from a barrel. At the bottom of the margin is the coat of arms and an inscription to Jan Jacob de Bruyn, who owned the original painting in his collection. Scene from the song play *The Wedding of Cloris and Roosje*.
