About this work
The personification of the vice Discordia: an interior with three elegantly dressed couples fighting with each other. Various household items have fallen to the floor. A dog bites the skirt of a woman. A child and a cat take a bite of a turkey. In the margin, a six-line Bible quotation from Prov. 17 and a motto in Latin. Pendant of a print with the good household.
