Oval portrait of the humanist and artist Dirck Volckertsz. Coornhert (1522-1590), without the ornamental frame visible on other versions (printed from a separate plate). Latin border text mentioning Coornhert's birth and death years, and the fact that Goltzius depicted him from life. However, on this copy the birth and death years of the print have been cut off.
