About this work

Superbia as a fashionably dressed lady, lily in the right hand. To the left of her stands a peacock, her attribute. The skirt of the gown is foldable. Below it her lower body as a skeleton with Adam and Eve during the Fall. In the corners of the architectural frame four medallions with Biblical scenes about pride. With inscription in German.
