About this work

Satirical print on the painter Eerelman painting the equestrian portrait of the young Wilhelmina. Eerelman depicted as Velázquez standing before his easel; in the front left on the ground, a portrait of Mrs. Carré on horseback. Below the image stands 'Velasquez Redivivus' and two lines of text in Dutch from De Amsterdammer of 23 March 1895.
