About this work

Clothing: sleeveless vest with double shoulder rolls with button decoration. A bodice with long sleeves, pleated collar and matching cuffs. On the coiffed hairstyle a winged cap.<BR />Ihle p. 20, no. 51: she wears the Spanish costume, but adapted to French taste, which also influenced Dutch fashion. In contrast to the Spanish hairstyle, which was coiffed into an increasingly high bun, here the hair above the temples is coiffed into two wings, while the rest is held together by an expensive cap. Pleated collar and 'vest', a wide garment closed only at the neck with shoulder rolls on the shoulders.
