Timepiece on the first meeting of the new Economic section of the Society of Sciences in Haarlem, held on 7 February 1778 in Amsterdam. Allegorical representation of a landscape with the personification of the Society accompanied by Ceres and Mercury; in the foreground two putti with the design of a building. The timepiece stands before the representation at the bottom.
