About this work

The annual procession of the guilds on Copper Monday (the first Monday after Epiphany) in Amsterdam, 1604. Procession and festivities on the Dam by the guilds, allowing lepers into the city and collecting money for them. In 1604, Copper Monday was celebrated for the last time in Amsterdam.
