About this work
The writer Johannes Riolanus kneels before Louis XIII who sits on his throne. He offers him his book (with the title in Greek and in Latin). They are accompanied by members of the French court. Top right a three-line inscription in Latin. In the margin a four-line inscription, in two columns, in Latin. On the verso the title page of Anthropographia, et osteologia in book print in Latin.
