About this work
Cartouche with a man on a sea monster, in a round frame decorated with a tulip motif and flanked by two vases with flowers and fruits. On the strapwork at the top sits an owl. In both upper corners, a swan flies. Hanging from the ropes in the beaks of two birds are a shell with a snake and a squid. Part of a series with title page and 12 sheets.
